In this chapter we studied the most important learner characteristics which include
learners’ motivation, learning style, learning strategies, maturity and past language learning
experience. In class the teacher made us remember about learning styles. Now, I
can say that they are the ways in which a learner naturally prefers to acquire
the new knowledge. The most common learning
styles presented in learners are the following: Visual, auditory,
Kinaesthetic, group, individual, reflective, impulsive, analytic and autonomous.
Now, let’s talk about learning strategies. They are the ways that learners choose and use
to learn a certain language. It is very useful in learner in order to identify what they need to learn. Using
the correct strategy we can improve the way that students learn a language and
at the same time we can build ans stablish differet learners strategies
according to the learning styles.

As a conclusion, I have noticed the importance of the
learning styles and learner’s strategies in order to improve and facilitate the
way of learning of students. I consider that I will apply this knowledge with
my students by giving them many activities like for example; experimenting and
taking risks by using just-learn language in different conversations, giving
them feedback after all activities
and assignments. Also I can use many activities like memorizing some important words like irregular verbs and adjectives
in order to develop any class activity or homework.
